With all the shops, stores and boutiques (and there's plenty of them) I found one that seemed to capture the essence of what Key West is all about. A little place called Local Color. The small shop looks like it may have been lost in a time warp during the 1960s. Here you'll find the most charming array of sterling silver, charms, bracelets, chains and pendants, along with loads of stone jewelry. The items here are unique and nicely made and the prices are very reasonable. So next time you're looking for a great piece of silver jewelry, give this place a try. Local Color, 276 Margaret St., Key West, Fl 33040. Tel: (305) 292-3635.

All Good Things...

Well that about wraps it up. There really is a lot to do on ol' Bone Island, and I didn't get to do all that I wanted. I didn't get a chance to visit too many bars for that matter, (hence my ability to remember what when on so I could write this story).

I suspect I will have to write a Key West Part II so that I can cover some of the places I missed on this trip. Ah, to take on again the arduous task of spending more time in the sun and water and eating fresh seafood while sipping on Pina Coladas. But I am a dedicated professional, so I will rise to the challenge, even if it means having to try a few more tropical drinks just so I can accurately report about them.

Hope you enjoyed reading this as much I did writing it. Key West is really a wonderful place that has a lot to offer. All you have to do and relax and enjoy it!

Happy Traveling
